It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yonette Edwards of Concord, North Carolina, born in Allendale, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Inez Harvey and Pete Starks; her siblings, Ida Mae Willis and Pete Harvey Junior; and her stepmother Rosa Starks.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona T. Dobson of Beaufort, SC, Tiffany Williams (McKenzie) of Concord, NC, Patrice Dobson of Salisbury, NC and Akeem Hosendove of Brunson, SC; her grandchildren, Prince, Christian, Shai-Yonna, Ineshia, Sierra, Keyonna, Sonterria, Malachi, Sean and Kendrick; her great grandchildren, Londyn, Messiah, Josiah, Rayne, Nolan and Kensley; her sister Phyllis Deloach of Fairfax, SC; her sister-in-law Elaine Harvey of Hampton, SC; her goddaughters, Lashawn Ellison of Queens and Syreeta Singleton of Wilmington, NC; her niece Natalya Deloach of Orangeburg, SC; her nephew Carlester Willis of Jupiter, Fla.; and her friend Armatine Williams of Brunson, SC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
