With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zelda Greene (Concord, North Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lola Hartis; her husband Eugene Field Belk; her son Earl "Buddy" Belk, Sr.; and her brother Billy Hartis. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Gillenwater (Richard) of Concord; and her grandchildren, Ray Gillenwater of Concord, Van Belk Jr. (Christi) of Texas, Kevin Belk (Julie) of Huntersville, Lisa Robbins (Chris) of Concord and Tony Belk (Megan) of Pineville. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County.
