He is survived by: his wife Julia Harris of Tarboro, NC; his son Michael Redmond of Hartford, CT; his stepsons, Hampton Winnegan and Anthony Winnegan of Tarboro, NC; his daughters, Sylvia Speight of Pinetops, NC, Casonya Harper and Alicia Redmond; his stepdaughter Belinda Lyons of Tarboro, NC; and his sister Louvenia Pettaway of Conetoe, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
