It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Ervin Ross of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Clarence and Olibell Marr Ross; his wife Rosell Ross; his grandsons, Israel Floyd and David Biles; and his siblings, Randy, David, Bud, Evelyn, Edna, Francis, Judy and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Ross (Sandy Lane), Brenda Byles and Wanda Hefner of Hickory; his siblings, Dallas Ross of Conover and Bessie Willis; his grandchildren, Tasha, Terry Jr., Chris, Matt, Josh, Timmy, William, Erin and Anthony; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Lillian, Gaige, Carson, Bentley, Claira, Jordan, Madison, Breana and Jessie.
