She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Paul and Rosa Lee Hollar Drum; her siblings, Catherine Little, Pauline Eckard, Dorothy Deal, Betty Hefner, JoAnn Starr, Jack Drum and Howard Drum; and the father of her children James Terrell Kanipe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Kanipe Surratt (Clarence) of Newton, Trudy Kanipe of Newton and Jill Stewart of Conover; her grandsons, Bennie A. Foy III, Colby Stewart and Ethan Stewart; her great grandchild Logan Foy; her stepgranddaughter Brandi Surratt; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Kayleigh, Kyleigh and Ryleigh; her sisters, Juanita Deitz and Sue Clay (Bud); and her friend Willie Grace Robbins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
