He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Paul Hilderbran and Elsie Simmons Hilderbran; his wife Brenda Engle Hilderbran; his son Ken Hilderbran (Jessica) of Cherryville; his siblings, Roger Hilderbran (Penny) of Elon and Elaine Hendricks Nora Smyre (Charles); and his grandchildren, Jace Paul Hilderbran and Rachel Charlotte Hilderbran.
