He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wagner and Ollie Teague Wagner; his sisters, Elenora Katherine Pinion (Wagner) and Susan Elizabeth Crump Those (Wagner); his wife Lucille Cook Wagner; his son Ricky Wagner (Anna) of Conover; his brother Henry Wagner (Joann) of Hickory Charles; and his grandchildren, Michael Wagner (Lisa), Christopher Wagner (Alexis), Melinda Steers (Matt) and Phillip Wagner (Victoria).

He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Tony, Jillian, Hunter, Jaxson, James, Leah, Connor, Emma, Dawson and Countless.
