She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawrence Sigmon and Jenni Maude Sigmon; her husband Richard Dickson Houston; her siblings, Norman Sigmon, Guy Sigmon, Fred Sigmon, Harold Sigmon, Rena Eckard, Winnie Houston, Ila McCain and Katie Miller; her granddaughter Raven Dietz; and her son-in-law Lloyd Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Houston (Susan) of Conover and Carol Houston Abbott of Conover; and her grandchildren, Nigel, Sally Alexander, Gavin Houston and Master Stg.
