With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Schaffer of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Kessinger Sr. and Mary Flinchum Kessinger; her husband Walker W. Schaffer Sr.; and her brothers, James H. Kessinger Jr. and Jesse A. Kessinger.
She is survived by: her children, Walker W. Schaffer Jr. of Conover, Sheri S. Lynch of Millsboro, DE and Laura S. Harbinson of Conover; her grandchildren, Brittany Cansler Nelson, Chelsea Schaffer Webb, Morgan Brooke Greene, Whitney A. Cooke, Chloe Elise Schaffer, Walker W. Schaffer III (Trip) and William Christopher Harbinson; and her great grandchildren, Riley Strickland, Parker Strickland, Stefen S. Nelson, Zeke Miller, W. Cash Miller, Erin C. Nelson, Jamison Miller, Cohen Christopher Cooke, Leighton Blake Cooke and Maverick Walker Webb.
