She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Labs and Grace Fluck Labs; her son John Patrick Simmons; and her sister Carol Olaerts. She is survived by: her husband Larry Simmons; her children, Michael Simmons (Susan) of Hickory and Dawn Simmons Yount of Granite Falls; her brother Bob Labs of Perkasie, PA; her siblings-in-law, Mike Wellborn and Peggy May (Buddy) of Lilborn, GA.; and her grandchildren, Gregory Scott Petrea Jr. and Mikaela Simmons.
