It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olmeito Huitt Stewart (Conover, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henderson Huitt and Margaret Elizabeth Murdoch Huitt; her husband Coye Gene "Pete" Stewart; and her siblings, Billy Ray Huitt, John Huitt, Phyllis Lowrimore, Sara Elizabeth Cole, Frances Chapman and Maxine Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Stewart (Nancy) of Newton, Peter Stewart of Newton, Samuel Stewart (Sabra) of Newton, Jeanne Deal of Newton and Debby Fiorentino of Hudson. She is also survived by son 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover.
