He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tutherow Sr. and Lottie Mae Tallant Tutherow; his wife Marian Cazire Tutherow; his son Gary Tutherow; and his brother James Tutherow.
He is survived by: his son Arnold R. Tutherow of Conover Ted; his grandchildren, Tara Whisenant, Marcy Tutherow, Bob Tutherow and Michelle Bird; and his great grandchildren, Brian Whisnant, Robert J. Tutherow, Jason Tutherow, Ashlynn Long, Brittany Bird and Courtney Bird.
