He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Almighty; his wife Ruth J. Hardy; his children, Timothy Jennings of Conway, Starbrina Jennings of Greensboro and Sharonda Jennings of Greensboro; his adoptive daughters, Stephanie Clewis, Beatrice Griffin and Renna Jones; and his siblings, Woodrow Hardy (Eleanor) of Carthage, Eva Jennings of Jackson, Emma Turner of Jackson, James Hardy (Gladys) of Jackson, Agnes Jones of Seaboard, Shirley Gatling of Garysburg, Doris Harris (Lester) of Raleigh and George Hardy (Gail) of South Boston, Virginia. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, fourteen nieces, ten nephews a host of other relatives and friends.
