He was predeceased by: his grandson Christopher Wetherington. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Wells Drake of Cove City; his son Billy Drake (Beverly) of Vanceboro; his stepsons, Jerry Wetherington (Phyllis), Steve Wetherington (Pam) and Mark Wetherington (Kristie) of Cove City; his brothers, Curtis Drake (Miriam) of Kinston and Bobby Drake (Edith) of Snow Hill; his grandchildren, John Wetherington, Tina Gray, Ashley Jones, Bradley Wetherington, Brandon Wetherington, Bradley Drake and Brandi Drake; and his niece Susie Boyd of Cove City.
