He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annabelle Wetherington; his sons, Gregory (Gypsy), Eddy (Cindy) and Mike (Linda); and his grandchildren, Jeff (Amanda), Jeannie, Holly (Jeremy), Josh, Chris (Destinee) and Ashley (Ryan). He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Craven County Hospice.
