We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2022, at the age of 94, Alma Garrett of Cramerton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Nathaniel Tate and Blanch Justus Tate; her husbands, Paul Walters and Irvin Garrett; her brothers, Theron and Edwin Tate; and her nephew Jeff Tate.
She is survived by : her daughter Karen Abrams of Fletcher, NC; and her brother Howard Tate (Martha) of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1, Belmont, NC 28012.
