It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ursula Schaffert Markham of Cramerton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederic Schaffert and Isla Schwan Schaffert; her husband Grafton Markham; and her son Alexander Markham. She is survived by: her children, Erica Coombs of Cramerton, NC and Harald Markham (Kyehong Markham) of Georgia; her sister Ingrid Felter; and her grandchildren, Theresa Markham Long, Jason Markham, Christina Markham Shahan, Thomas Markham, Jessica Clapp, Katheryn Markham Humphries, Alex Coombs, Eric Coombs and Matthew Coombs. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Apostolic Church (2535 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214).
