She is survived by : her sons, Eddie Norwood (Sarah) of Henderson, NC, David Norwood (Becky) of Creedmoor, NC and Barry Norwood (Melody) of Creedmoor, NC; her grandchildren, Megan, Adam and Bradley; her great grandchild Halo; and her siblings, Patty Neal of Durham, Mary Nell Whitman of Greencastle and Jimmy Aiken of Bryant, Alabama..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Creedmoor.

“I could never say how much I loved Aunt Betty. She was such a strong woman in stature and faith. On visits to her lately she and I would discuss our faith in God. They were my blessings I have no doubt that she is with Jesus as of The early hours this past Tuesday. I am sad but rejoicing for her that the pain left her immediately that instant. She was a excellent seamstress, gardner, and she loved to be outside. Aunt Betty truly loved her siblings, boys, grandchildren and great-grandchild.”
