It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Todd Canter of Creston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Canter and Stella Mae Eller Canter; his son Joey Canter; and his grandson Justin Canter. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Greer Canter; his children, Hope Canter Guy of Jefferson and Levi Canter; his siblings, Marvin Canter of West Jefferson, Carter Canter of Creston and Iva Dean Baldwin of Crumpler; his grandchildren, Samantha Canter, Maddie Guy, Dustin Guy and Kevin Guy; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Teaster, Noah Carpenter, Jasmine Guy, Iassac Guy and Addison Guy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
