With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Anne Johnson Shinn of Crumpler, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Johnson and Mary Sue Jerrell Johnson; and her brother Billy Ray Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Clifford "Gene" Shinn; her sons, William "Tater" Shinn and Tommy Shinn (Robbin); her brothers, Mike Johnson (Dottie), Gary Johnson (Lisa) and Guy Johnson (Nina); her grandchildren, Amber, Daniel, Blake and Dakota Shinn; and her stepgrandchildren, Shiva, Josh Shayegh, Christina Kelly and Amanda Vido. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640).
