Kortne Waginger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kortne Waginger of Cullowhee, North Carolina, born in Sylva, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Brigham Waginger; her parents, Dee Walsh and Tonia Walsh of Peachtree, NC.; her siblings, Alex Walsh (Savannah) of Robbinsville, NC, Katie Walsh of Knoxville, TN and Quincey Patterson Rickett (Jason) of Hayesville, NC.; her grandmother Jo Ford Smith of Scottsdale, AZ; her aunts, Vickie Walsh of Robbinsville, NC, Debbie Reighard Duran of Scottsdale, AZ and Gaye (Benny Orr); her uncle Dale (Susie Walsh); her cousins, Kyle Orr (Christy) of Robbinsville, NC, Keenan Walsh of Robbinsville, NC, Alexis Duran of New River, AZ and Harley Duran of Scottsdale, AZ.; her parents-in-law, Jeanette Waginger of Ironton, OH, John Waginger of Hanging Rock, OH, Gary and Debbie Hanes of South Webster, OH.; her brothers-in-law, Josh Waginger (Courtney) of Hanging Rock, OH and John "Bub" Waginger (Kayla) of Hanging Rock, OH.; her nieces and nephews, Beckham Waginger, Bentlee Waginger, Barrett Waginger, Boston Waginger and Kase Waginger; her pets, Wynsdor, Yeti and Cabella (Belly); her grandparents, Modeal, Irene Walsh, Jimmy Reighard and Bill Smith; and her cousins, James Orr and Loudon Orr.

Due to the risk of exposure to Covid-19 Kortne's family suggests that anyone wishing to attend the services, please wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing protocols.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Graham County Cancer Support Group in remembrance of Kortne at P.O. Box 1084 Robbinsville, NC 28771.
