She was predeceased by : her son Carl Jeffrey Lewis; and her siblings, Alfred, Woody, Brantley, Buddy, Doug, Marcella Lewis, Virginia L. Gantt and Genevieve L. Grimsley.

She is survived by : her parents, David Jasper and Eva Almira Horrell Lewis; her children, Tony Fontana (Cindy), Joseph Sandy and Melissa Woodcock (Steve); her daughter-in-law Sherry Lewis; her grandchildren, Kayla Hill and Grannie Mavis; and her siblings, Elsie Lewis Miles, Julia Jacqueline Lewis Esmiol (Danny), David "Buck" J. Lewis, Jr., Billy Lewis and Debbie Lewis Watson (Eddie).
