We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, at the age of 79, Sherman Ray Cohoon of Currituck, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Maurice and Ruby Lee Cooper Cohoon. He is survived by : his daughters, Beth Cohoon Blyth (Kevin Ellis) of Virginia Beach and Heather Renae Cohoon Matthews (Gene Matthews) of Chesapeake, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jessica Renae Sweet (Cameron Peters) of Camden Newark, Jamey Ryan Blyth (Ashleigh Blyth) of Camden, Madisen Matthews Newman (Brian Newman) of Suffolk and Virginia Jacobey Reese Blyth of Chesapeake; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Donald Sweet, Scarlett Rose Blyth, Camilla Lilly Blyth and Grayson Dare Newman.
Our father deserves the biggest and best farewell ever, but with the current Covid pandemic restrictions that is not possible or safe. So as soon as the pandemic restrictions are over, we will have a celebration of life party.
