She is survived by: her mother Alice Lane Johnson; her children, Jeremy Sutton (Shanna), Wendy Sutton (Richard Rhodes) and Michael Short, Jr. (Victoria); her grandchildren, Jake Sutton, Aiden Sutton, Damion Riffle, Adam Riffle (Calee), Isabella McElroy, Bailey Short, Wendy Short, Gavin Short, Makenzie Short, Michael Short, III and Nicholas Valverde; and her sisters, Terry Reel (Mike) and Sharon Green (Roger). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mount Holly Church of God (208 Rankin Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
