She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Edward Lambeth and Martha Sirona Small Lambeth; her husbands, John C. Smith and Raymond Stokes; and her siblings, Gladys Green, Jean Harris, Edgar and Ray Lambeth.
She is survived by: her daughter Johnnie Alaniz; her sister Evelyne "Dee" Myers; her granddaughters, Christina Shoaf, Sylvia Deaton, Jody Brown and Sherry Swing; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Whisenant (Chris), Jordan Deaton, Austin Shoaf and Randy Harris.
