She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Locke Poteat and Willie Maude Eller Poteat; and her husbands, Billie Ray Murphy, Harold James Cunningham and Ray L. Greene.
She is survived by: her children, India Tilley and Reis Murphy; her grandchildren, Sean Murphy, Sara Murphy Hege and Shaina Wood; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Colton Hege; her niece Mary Strickland; and her close friends, Louise Pethel and Uyvonda Culp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
