It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Brackett Brown of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Esko Brackett and Elizabeth Brackett; and her husband Smiley W. "Doodle" Brown. She is survived by : her sons, Smiley "Walter" Brown, Jr. (Doris) of Davidson, NC and Tracy Brown (Kim) of Huntersville, NC.; her grandchildren, Smiley Walter Brown, III (Brittany), Catherine Eicher (Benjamin), Michael Brown (Amber), Cameron Brown (Hailey), Cassidy Brown and Cayla Brown; and her great grandchildren, Nora and Noah. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and adored pets.
