He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Ferrell and Opal Brewer Ferrell; and his brothers, John Melvin Ferrell and Chuck Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Ferrell of Denton; his children, Darrell Ferrell, Brent Ferrell (Kathleen) of Denton and Diana Flynt (Robbie) of Pleasant Garden; and his grandchildren, Libby Moretz (Tyler) of Lexington, Maria Ferrell, Brenna Ferrell of Chapel Hill and Emily Flynt of Reidsville.
