He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Griffith and Earl Griffith; and his brothers, John and James. He is survived by: his former wife Celeste Maudine Pruitt; his wife Amelia Godbold Boyd; his children, Trent Tucker, Anita Barber (Barney) of Fairfield Bay and Jana Watt (Iain) of Davidson; his stepchildren, Kevin Boyd (Diane) and Kristi Boyd; his grandchildren, Madison, Jackson Barber, Ella and Ava Watt; and also, Tristian, Taryn, Tucker Boyd and Colton Capuano. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
