He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Tysinger (Randy) of Lexington, Janet Horne (Tommy) of Lexington, Garry Koontz (Janice) of Punta Gorda, FL and Stuart Koontz of Petersburg, VA; his grandchildren, Raymond Koontz, Courtney Hines (Chris), Chelsea Stone (Jared), Caitlin Tysinger, Robert Motsinger and Sarah Horne (Zac Madsen); his great grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy Hines and Emma Littleton; and his sister Nancy Lewis of Asheville.
Surviving are his daughters; Rhonda Tysinger (Randy) and Janet Horne (Tommy) all of Lexington; sons, Garry Koontz (Janice) of Punta Gorda, FL and Stuart Koontz of Petersburg, VA; grandchildren, Raymond Koontz, Courtney Hines (Chris), Chelsea Stone (Jared), Caitlin Tysinger, Fiance' Robert Motsinger and Sarah Horne and companion Zac Madsen; great-grandchildren, Madison and Kennedy Hines and Emma Littleton; and a sister, Nancy Lewis of Asheville, NC In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
