He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry H. Costner, Sr. and Carolyn Turner Costner; his son Harry Costner, III (Misty); his granddaughter Elizabeth; his son Brent Costner (Delphine); his grandchildren, Aiden and Chloe; and his sister Cecelia Smith (Chris Smith).
