He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delma Ferguson Hamilton and Herman Hardy Hamilton; his wife Kitty of The Pines; his daughters, Katy Cook (Reuben) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Leslie Thomas of Davidson, NC; his grandchildren, Cammie Cook, Will and Nelle Thomas; his sister-in-law Leslie Lambert; and his sister Camilla Lowry (Jimmy). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
