He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Curry Queen; his stepchildren, Ben Peacock and Stephanie Easter; and his stepmother Betty Meadows Queen. He is survived by: his father Oscar Eugene Queen; his wife Patricia Carroll Surratt Queen; his children, Nicholas Queen of Blacksburg and Amanda Queen; his siblings, Greg Strickland (Barbara) of Statesville, Rhonda McCurdy of High Point and Tracy Tate (Greg) of High Point; his grandchildren, Alex Easter, Kasey Easter and Darby Easter; and his pets, Ollie, Daisy and Opossum. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending the graveside service are ask to practice social distancing and to wear a face cover.
