He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margil Roscoe Ogden and Vera Ava Brady Ogden; his wife Peggy Loretta Kinney Ogden; his daughter Teresa Lowe (Doug) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, David Lowe of Los Angeles and Alana Lowe-Rios (Jose) of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Landynn and Masynn Rios; and his sister Marie Parkinson of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Carolina Memorial Baptist Church, 422 Liberty Drive in Thomasville, NC.
