He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Curtis Cloer and Emma Wiggins Cloer; his wife Laura Haney Cloer; his son Travis Cloer of Lexington; his sisters, Carolyn Tysinger (Niles) of Lexington, Patricia Brogdon of Lexington, Betty Tysinger (Rick) of Lexington and Rhonda McDaniel (Mike) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Alexandrea Cloer, Ava Cloer and Grayson Cloer; and his former wife Barbara Allen Cloer of Lexington.
