She was predeceased by: her parents, James Anin Tyree and Bertha Kellison Tyree. She is survived by: her husband William N. Shafer; her daughters, Candiss Jett of Columbus, Tricia Jett Smith (Mo) of Danbury and Toni Jett Evans of Winston Salem; her grandchildren, Bryant, Dylan, Anthony, Mackenzie, Brittaney, Logan and Tristan; her great grandchildren, Faith, Jedediah, River, Eliza and Brooklyn; and her brother Butch Tyree of Trinity.
