He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Rebecca McLean (Donald McLean); his grandchildren, Jaime and Jackie Newgent; his son James Newgent (Sandi); his grandchildren, Aiden and Rhyus; his sister Dr. Hannah Eads (Newgent); and his siblings-in-law, Myrna Newgent (John), Cecilia Ayoup (James) and Albert Basil (Catherine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, Godchildren.
