He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stephen H. Strawn and Lila Faircloth Strawn; and his sister Joy S. Barbee of Concord, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Norma Hill Strawn; his children, Leslie Jean Strawn of Davidson and Stephen Lance Strawn of Charlotte; and his sisters, Dr. Martha S. Iley of Harrisburg, NC and Helen S. Purdy of Charleston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
