It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Whit Whitney (Davidson, North Carolina), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 98, on May 9, 2021. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Whitney and Helene Whitney; his wife Ora Maria Parham; his son William (Laura); his granddaughter Sally; his friends, Church and Rotary; his former wife Charlotte Hamor; his great grandchild Jackson Kenneth; his brother Richard; his granddaughter Rachael; and also, Jackson Kenneth of Bremerton, WA, Sally of Mooresville, Grainger Smith and Charlotte Hawkins.
Throughout his isolation during Covid, Whit filled his days with another of his passions, cross-stitching, making his great grandson, Jackson Kenneth a memorable Christmas stocking.
