He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Whitman Cooper; his sons, Chad Allen Cooper (Jennifer), Sean Allen Cooper of Elizabeth City, NC and Clint Allen Cooper (Brandalynn) of South Mills, NC; and his siblings, Sue Tuley, Sally Stephens and Bob Cooper. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
