It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Farrell Styron of Davis, North Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Styron and Alice Williams Styron; and his grandchildren, Tracy Tosto and James Ivester. He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his son Kenny (Barbara) of Davis; his granddaughter Patty; his son-in-law David; his daughter Patty Ivester (David) of Davis; his siblings, Elizabeth Salter Ritchey of Davis, Richard "Dickie" Styron (Bev) of Davis and Lorraine Alligood (Leton) of Skidaway Island, GA; his grandchildren, Mary Ann Styron of Portland, OR, Carrie Ann Styron (Vincent) of Portland, OR, Patrick Ivester of Davis, Brent Ivester (Angela) of Davis, Neil Styron (Delisa) of Davis, Kiah Ivester of Davis, Teresa Styron Giddeons (Patrick) of Willard, NC, Alison Styron (Amy Morgan) of Trent Woods and Heather Ivester of Beaufort; and his great grandchildren, Carter Lewis, Camden Ivester, Nathan, Naomi, Natalie, Nadine Giddeons, Ion Harmon, Lola Raymond, Lily Styron, Landon, Skylar, Diane Ivester, Murphy and Neilly Styron.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
