He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carrie Ann Styron; his children, Bethany JoAlison Styron and Joseph "Joey" Milton Styron, Jr. of Wilmington; his mother Ruby Brewer Styron of Davis; his sister Helen Styron Taylor (Terry) of Adams Creek; his nieces and nephews, Marie Riley of Wilmington, Lynn Carter of Coinjock and Lacy Austin Jr. of Kinston; and his father Milton Styron.
