He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn D. Coffey and Reba Jones Coffey; his wife Joyce Idol Coffey; and his siblings, Howard Coffey and Maxine McGuire.
He is survived by : his children, James Coffey (Carla) and Denise Coffey Young; and his siblings, Bill Coffey and Lorine Williams. He is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
