Joseph M. Cook Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph M. Cook Sr. of Deep Gap, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jordan Vilas Cook and Martha Elizabeth Wheeler Cook; his grandsons, Jordan Cook and Leslie Goodwin; and his siblings, Carolyn Carlton, Ellen Ashley, Jeanette Greene, Jordan Cook, Stewart Cook and David Cook.

He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Oxentine Cook; his children, Amy Cook Barber (Mike) of Hays, April Cook Barker (Calvin) of Louisville and Joseph Morris Cook, Jr. (Pam) of Cummings, Georgia; his grandchildren, Amber Ward, Danelle Cranor, Megan Tanju, Sarah Matheson, Daniel Cook and Luke Barker; and his siblings, Naomi Greene, Janice Tester, Shirley Triplett and Henry Cook. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
