She was predeceased by : her parents, Tilden Miller and Ada Greene Miller; her husband David Norris; and her siblings, Clay, Frank, Tom, Paul Miller, Della, Ethel and Delphia.

She is survived by : her daughters, Brenda Norris Brown (Steve) of Taylorsville and Sandra Norris Simmons (Dwight) of Boone; her grandchildren, Tennille Brown Baker (Todd) of Taylorsville, NC, Tyler Brown (Christian) of Taylorsville, NC, Emilee Simmons Hughes (David) of Knoxville, TN and Brent Simmons (Autumn) of Seattle, WA; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Kate Hughes, Owen Charles Hughes of Knoxville, TN and Grayson Tyler Brown of Taylorsville.
