He was predeceased by : his parents, Eunice Inez Failgwin and William Franklin Lawshe; his wife Darlene Lawshe; and his siblings, Donald Lawshe and Susan Lawshe.

He is survived by : his daughter Devin Bracey (Wes) of Delco, NC; his sisters, Tina Marie Lawshe Wingo of Nauvoo, AL and Bonnie Lawshe Randall of Idaho; and his brother-in-law Roger Herring.
