He is survived by: his wife Patsy Varner Dunn Smith; his children, Daniel "Danny" Smith, Jr. and Gina Clinard; his stepsons, Terry, Andy and Kelly Dunn; his siblings, Don Smith and Sandra Barnes; and his pets, Daisy and Mary Lou. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and his pet.
