He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Francis Trogdon and John Franklin Thompson; his stepfather Authur Trogdon; and his siblings, Faye Lane, Kenny Thompson and Gary Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana; and his siblings, Danny Ray, Randy Thompson (Susan) and Connie Thompson. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
