It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Charles Tews of Denton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karl Junius Tews and Lola Mae Wilson Tews; his former wife Fannie Mae Taylor Tews; his son Julius Sherrrill Tews; his wife Susan Temples Tews; his daughters, Monica D. Tews of Banner Elk, Gail Reineke of Denton and Kay Jones (Larry) of Denton; and his grandchildren, Brandon Woodard, Jonathan Burris, Joni Cook, Michelle Jones and Daniel Jones. He was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren.
