She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Thomas English and Blanche Massengill English; her husband Roy Vestal Shipton; her siblings, Robert English, James Thomas English and Catherine Ann English; and her son-in-law Leonard Britt.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Shipton (Barbara) of Denton, Jerry Shipton (Amy) of Denton, Lisa Britt of Mt. Gilead and Joanne Jackson (Jan) of Christiansburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson, Emily Jackson Crimmins, Chad Shipton, Bradley Shipton, Tabitha Alanis, Lauren Britt and Landis Britt; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Haylee, Savanna, McKenzie and Izzy.
